Background

I started my training career back in high school, chuckin' birds for a field trial trainer, not realising he was setting me on the track to my future. I've been training dogs for the last 7 years, but I've been around dogs me whole life. I grew up with retrievers, but it wasn't till uni that I discovered me passion for training. I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2010 with a Bachelor's in Forestry and a Master's in Wildlife Management. Me education and childhood experience taught me how to read dogs and tailor me training to suit each individual dog's needs that comes through our kennel. I've trained multiple Hunting Retriever Champions, Master Hunters, qualified dogs of all ages and competed in the Grand Hunting Retriever Championship.

I've trained with heaps of professionals across Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina, been to workshops, and I'm always upping my game in training retrievers every day. If there's one thing I've sussed out over the years, it's that you're never gonna know it all when it comes to training dogs. Every pooch you cross paths with is gonna throw a new hurdle and challenge your way. It's my experience, know-how, and knack for understanding animals that lets me be successful. I thank God for the talents he's gifted me with and I'm keen to meet heaps of new dogs and make mates in the years ahead.

Why I Use SportDOG Brand

I use SportDOG Brand gear 'cause I only use the best for me dogs. I’ve tried all the other training collars out there and SportDOG's fair dinkum the best. At me kennel, I need a collar that can meet the stimulation needs of some of the softest dogs to the toughest. No other collar mob's got a collar that can do that. SportDOG's fair serious about all breeds of dogs. The staff at SportDOG have gone out of their way to help me out and make sure I've got what I need to be successful.

Favourite Products

My favourite piece of SportDOG Brand gear is the SD-2525, this collar is one of the reasons for our success. Its ability to do low, medium, and high stimulation output on the collar itself, as well as on the transmitter, allows me to push dogs through our program that used to not be able to because our collar was either too hot or too soft.
