When would I use the Vehicle Mode function in the Handheld Device?
Vehicle Mode disables the internal compass and allows your Handheld Device to rely on GPS for heading and bearing information. This allows your Handheld Device to provide stable readings and not be affected by the metal structure and magnetic fields within your vehicle. You would use Vehicle Mode when attempting to track your collars while you are inside a moving vehicle with your Handheld Device. Be sure to deactivate Vehicle Mode once you have exited the vehicle to resume normal tracking.

TO ENABLE / DISABLE VEHICLE MODE:
- From the main menu, select SETTINGS > VEHICLE MODE.
- Use the right arrow on the Menu Selection Pad to select Y to enable or N to disable Vehicle Mode.
- Press BACK to return to the main menu.
